Biography

 I seek to capture the hidden essence, the unrevealed secrets, the dance of light and movement, the surrealistic collage of multiple images interacting with one another.  Photography fascinates me – to seize the moment, enhance and recreate it through superimposed layers of meaning.  As a former interior designer I have always brought together differing elements in a room or house – as a photographer I have even more freedom to create a picture from a myriad of images – be they mine or images discovered online and juxtaposed with my own shots.  My website is a kaleidoscope of my life – my family and friends who are dear to me, the journey of life from marriage to motherhood, to children, and beyond, my childhood foreign dolls which introduced me to many cultures, and the world travels which have taught me so much.   I photograph the image before me and transform it into the world of the imagination, the fantasy, the creativity of what may become.   

            Kristin Elise Lindley is a creative artist who over the years has been a professional singer, dancer, interior and landscape designer, published writer and photographer.  She is also a world traveler who has lived on four continents and speaks five languages, including fluent French and Spanish.  She brings her vivid imagination and artistic inspiration to all of her creative projects.
